This article analyzes the cognitive processes of adolescent students, namely, the developmental features of perception, attention, memory, thinking and speech, and the pedagogical foundations of their effective formation. At this age, intensive development of cognitive processes is observed, and these processes require specific aspects of pedagogical approaches. The study highlights the influence of the educational environment, teaching methods and psychological factors on cognitive development. It also discusses methods for developing students' independent thinking, creativity and critical thinking skills. The article also studies the influence of modern educational technologies on the cognitive processes of adolescents and gives practical recommendations.
