  THE TRANSLATION OF CULTURAL REFERENCES IN CONTEMPORARY FICTION: PROBLEMS AND APPROACHES This paper examines the main difficulties and techniques involved in translating cultural references found in modern fiction. Expressions related to customs, history, idioms, or social life often create challenges for translators because they hold meanings that are specific to the source culture. The study emphasizes that achieving equivalence between the original and translated texts requires not only linguistic skill but also deep cultural understanding. Referring to theories such as domestication and foreignization, it discusses how translators decide between keeping the original cultural flavor and making the text accessible for readers in another culture. The research argues that translating culture-bound elements successfully depends on flexible, context-based choices rather than rigid use of one single method. In conclusion, it suggests that effective cultural translation allows readers from different backgrounds to experience the same emotions and artistic value intended by the author, preserving both the spirit and the integrity of the original work.

To solve the problems of patients associated with obstruction of the pyelourethral segment, the easiest and least traumatic consequence is minimally invasive laparoscopic pyeloplasty, the effect and result of which are significantly increased compared to open surgical operations. Laparoscopic access is convenient for better visualization of internal anatomical organs, perfect isolation of the pyelourethral segment, and free space for performing manipulations using laparoscope instruments.

  IMPROVING THE EFFECTIVENESS OF TREATMENT OF CATARRHAL GINGIVITIS IN ADOLESCENTS WITH DIABETES MELLITUS Catarrhal gingivitis is a frequent inflammatory periodontal condition among adolescents, characterized by gingival redness, swelling, bleeding, and discomfort. The prevalence of this disease significantly increases in adolescents with diabetes mellitus, as chronic hyperglycemia alters immune responses, reduces salivary flow, increases bacterial growth, and promotes oxidative stress, thereby exacerbating periodontal inflammation. Poor glycemic control leads to increased susceptibility to oral infections and worsens periodontal outcomes. Effective management of catarrhal gingivitis in diabetic adolescents is essential to prevent further periodontal complications and to improve overall oral and systemic health. Conventional treatment strategies often include mechanical plaque removal, oral hygiene education, and antiseptic mouth rinses, yet these measures may not be sufficient in diabetic patients due to delayed tissue healing and altered host response. Therefore, optimizing treatment protocols tailored for diabetic adolescents plays a crucial role in reducing disease severity, enhancing clinical outcomes, and improving quality of life for young patients.

  CLINICAL AND MORPHOLOGICAL CHANGES IN THE MUCOSA OF THE ORAL CAVITY IN TYPE 1 DIABETES MELLITUS Type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM) is a chronic autoimmune endocrine disorder characterized by absolute insulin deficiency and persistent hyperglycemia. The oral cavity is highly sensitive to systemic metabolic dysregulation, and diabetic patients frequently develop pathological changes in the oral mucosa due to microangiopathy, neuropathy, immune dysfunction, and oxidative stress. Chronic hyperglycemia disrupts tissue turnover, increases susceptibility to infections, and impairs wound healing, predisposing patients to conditions such as xerostomia, candidiasis, periodontal disease, and mucosal ulcerations. Morphological alterations, including epithelial atrophy, increased keratinization, intracellular edema, and microvascular changes, are key indicators of oral mucosal involvement in T1DM. Understanding clinical and histopathological patterns of mucosal alterations in T1DM is essential for early diagnosis, prevention of complications, and effective dental management, as oral manifestations often precede systemic metabolic imbalance and may signal poor glycemic control.

  OSTEOMYELITIS TREATMENT POSTOPERATIVE PREVENTION Osteomyelitis is a severe inflammatory and infectious disease affecting bone and bone marrow, commonly caused by bacterial pathogens such as Staphylococcus aureus. It typically develops from hematogenous spread, direct inoculation during trauma or surgery, or contiguous spread from adjacent soft tissue infections. Despite advances in surgical techniques and antimicrobial therapy, osteomyelitis remains a significant clinical challenge due to its chronic nature, high recurrence rates, and ability of microorganisms to form biofilms on bone surfaces. These biofilms protect bacteria from host immune mechanisms and reduce antibiotic penetration, complicating therapeutic outcomes. Delayed diagnosis, antibiotic resistance, impaired vascularity, and comorbidities such as diabetes mellitus further complicate the prognosis. Considering the clinical burden and potential complications including sepsis, limb deformities, and bone necrosis, effective treatment strategies and postoperative preventive measures are essential for long-term patient recovery and maintenance of musculoskeletal integrity.
