THE IMPORTANCE OF INTERACTIVE METHODS IN TEACHING THE UZBEK

LANGUAGE

Abstract.

This article analyzes in detail the importance of interactive methods in teaching the

Uzbek language. Interactive methods provide active communication between students and

teachers during the learning process, which makes language learning interesting and effective.

The article presents interactive methods, such as group work, discussions, role-playing, and

teaching methods using modern technologies.

Keywords:

teaching the Uzbek language, interactive methods, active communication, group

work, discussions, role-playing, modern technologies.

Introduction.

Interactive methods play an important role in the educational process, especially

in language learning. The use of interactive methods in teaching the Uzbek language helps to

ensure active communication between students and teachers. This process makes language

learning not only interesting, but also effective. Interactive methods are primarily aimed at

increasing student activity. In traditional teaching methods, students often passively listen to the

lesson and accept the information provided by the teacher. Such an approach can often reduce

student interest [1]. Interactive methods involve students in the lesson process, allow them to

express their thoughts and communicate with each other. For example, in group work, students

exchange ideas by solving problems together or discussing a topic. This creates an opportunity to

apply their language skills in practice.

With the help of interactive methods, students have the opportunity to freely express their

thoughts. Through activities such as role-playing, debates or simulations, students learn to use

language in real-life situations. In this process, they not only learn new words, but also learn how

to use them correctly and logically. For example, through role-playing, students become different

characters and communicate using the language of these characters. This method also increases

their creativity and develops their ability to express themselves.

Modern technologies also enrich the interactive learning process. Through online platforms,

presentation programs and mobile applications, students can actively participate during the

lesson. For example, through online tests or quizzes, students can test their knowledge and

compete with each other. This increases their motivation and increases their interest in learning.

Interactive methods also help to develop social connections among students [2]. By participating

in group work or discussions, students get to know each other, exchange ideas, and make new

friends. This, in turn, improves their communication skills and develops their ability to work in a

team. As a result, interactive methods are a very effective tool in teaching the Uzbek language.

They encourage students to be active, help them apply their language skills in practice, and

increase their motivation. For teachers, using these methods creates an opportunity to make

lessons more interesting and effective. Also, through interactive approaches, students' interest in

the language increases and they strive to further deepen their knowledge. Thus, it is necessary to

introduce interactive methods in teaching the Uzbek language. This is not only beneficial for

students, but also creates new opportunities for teachers. By using interactive approaches in the

teaching process, we make language learning more effective and interesting.

Interactive methods play an important role in the educational process, especially in language

learning. The use of interactive methods such as group work, discussions, role-playing, and

modern technologies in teaching the Uzbek language is not only interesting for students, but also

effective [3]. Through these methods, students have the opportunity to apply their knowledge,

communicate, and develop new skills.

Group work is one of the most effective methods of interactive learning. Students are divided

into small groups and perform specific tasks together. In this process, each student learns to

express his or her opinion, listen to others, and make collective decisions. In group work,

students help each other, exchange ideas, and try to find solutions together. For example, groups

can discuss a topic in Uzbek. This process develops social ties among students and improves

their communication skills.

Discussions encourage students to express their thoughts freely. Through discussions in Uzbek,

students discuss various topics, justify their opinions, and argue with others. This process creates

an opportunity to apply the language in practice, and students learn to express their thoughts

more clearly and fluently. By participating in discussions, students not only increase their

vocabulary, but also develop their logical thinking skills.

Role-playing is another interactive method that encourages students to communicate in different

situations. Through role-playing, students take on different characters and simulate real-life

situations. For example, students can master situations such as shopping in a store or ordering

food in a restaurant. With this method, they learn new words and phrases, and learn how to use

them correctly and logically [4]. The process of role-playing encourages students to be creative

and develops their self-expression skills.

Modern technologies also play an important role in enriching the interactive learning process.

Through online platforms, mobile applications and presentation programs, students can actively

participate in the lesson. For example, with the help of online quizzes or tests, students can test

their knowledge and compete with each other. This increases their motivation and increases their

interest in learning. Also, with the help of video lessons and interactive materials, students have

the opportunity to conduct lessons more interesting and effective. Interactive methods are not

only useful for students, but also create new opportunities for teachers [5]. Teachers can use

various methods to make lessons more interesting and effective. In this process, they use

innovative approaches to attract students and increase their interest. As a result, interactive

methods are a very effective tool in teaching the Uzbek language. They encourage students to be

active, help them apply their language skills in practice, and increase their motivation. For

teachers, the use of these methods creates the opportunity to make lessons more interesting and

effective. Through interactive approaches, students' interest in the language increases and they

strive to further deepen their knowledge. Thus, it is necessary to introduce interactive methods in

teaching the Uzbek language. This will not only help to increase the level of knowledge of

students, but also have a positive effect on their personal development. By using interactive

approaches in the educational process, we make language learning more effective and interesting.

The following suggestions can be considered to make the process of teaching the Uzbek

language more effective and interesting:

Conducting lessons in an interactive format, for example, through group discussions, role-

playing and simulations, to encourage active participation of students.

Using online platforms, mobile applications and presentation programs. For example,

conducting quizzes using tools such as Kahoot or Quizlet.

Giving students tasks to write a story, essay or poem. This allows them to express their

thoughts and develop their writing skills.

Increasing students' interest by teaching Uzbek culture, traditions and customs. Providing

information about cultural events, national holidays and traditional foods.

Making language learning more interesting through films, music and podcasts in the Uzbek

language. Creating opportunities for students to learn through hearing and seeing.

Encouraging students to prepare a project on a specific topic in small groups. In this process,

students work together and apply their knowledge in practice.

Make language learning interesting through games. For example, play word games,

crossword puzzles, or other language-related games.

Prepare interactive materials for lessons, such as creating slides, infographics, and video

tutorials.

Take students to real-life situations, such as simulating shopping in stores or ordering food

in restaurants.

Introduce a mentoring system among students, where experienced students help beginners.

This process helps to exchange knowledge.

After each lesson, set aside time for students to share their thoughts and impressions of the

lesson.

Provide students with books, articles, and other resources in Uzbek, and encourage them to

read them.

These suggestions can make the process of teaching the Uzbek language more interesting and

effective. It is important to take into account the interests and needs of students when

implementing each suggestion.

Conclusion.

In conclusion, the importance of interactive methods in teaching the Uzbek

language is very great. These techniques encourage students to actively participate in the course

process, increase their interest, and develop interpersonal skills. With interactive techniques,

students have the opportunity to freely express their thoughts, work in a group and develop a

creative approach. In addition, it is possible to make classes more interesting and effective by

applying modern technologies. This, in turn, increases interest in language among students and

makes the learning process more effective. The use of knowledge gained through interactive

techniques in practice can help prepare students for real-life situations.

In general, the introduction of interactive techniques in teaching the Uzbek language not only

makes the process of learning the language effective, but also develops social skills among

students. This serves to make them successful in their personal and professional lives in the

future. Therefore, the inclusion of interactive techniques in the educational process is an

important task for each teacher.
