Subject of research: Researches were conducted on the base of Republic oncology scientific centre under the Ministry of Public Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Legislative and normative-legal documents of the Republic of Uzbekistan, reports of the Information Statistic Centre under the Ministry of Public Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, sociologic questionings and expert conclusions on illness (disease) history were subjects of research.
Purpose of work: pharmacoeconomic analysis of medicinal means used in treatment of mammary gland cancer and the choice of effective safe economic medicinal means, allowing to achieve the improvement of life quality, increasing of its duration (lasting), decreasing of treatment terms and economy of budget means.
Methods of research: “Cost of disease” and “Cost-effectiveness” (“Efficacy of expenditures”) methods of pharmacoeconomic analysis, ABC/VEN-analysis, content-analysis, sociological methods of research (questioning, individual inquiry, expert assays).
The results obtained and their novelty: For the first time pharmacoeconomic assay of medicinal means used in adjuvant hormonal therapy of mammary gland cancer using “Cost- efficacy” (“Efficacy of expenditures”) method was conducted. Method for conducting of “Cost of disease” analysis was adapted for founding out of direct medical expenditures for diagnosis and treatment.
Practical value: As a result of researches conducted for the first time optimal treatment methods of mammary gland cancer using effective medicinal agents and scientifically well founded approach to their rational use were determined.
Degree of embed and economic effectivity: on the base of conducted researches results Letrozol preparation was embed to “The list of main drugs” confirmed by order №230 of the Ministry of Public Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan from the 24th july 2009.
Developed methodic recommendation and cducationally-mcthodic indication were introduced to the practice of pharmacy organizations of “Dori-Darmon” Joint venture Company, Republic oncology scientific centre under the Ministry of Public Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan and educational process at the “Pharmacy” and “Pharmacy organizing” departments of Tashkent pharmaceutical institute.
