standard is widely used in manufacturing, service, and other sectors, but it also
plays a significant role in the education sector. This article provides detailed
information about the main principles of the ISO 9001 standard and how it is
applied in educational institutions. ISO 9001 is internationally recognized
guidelines for quality management systems (QMS). This standard helps
organizations create effective management systems and continually improve
them. Although initially applied in manufacturing and service sectors, today it

institutions.
