Positive aspects in the social policy of the countries of Central

Asia are important in the development, stability of the region and the formation
of civil society. After these states gained independence, they began to carry out
large-scale reforms in the areas of improving the standard of living of the
population, developing health and education systems, Activating Youth and
women's policies, strengthening social protection. As a result of this policy, the
social activity of the population increased, and confidence in the state among
citizens was strengthened. In the process of building social equality, stability and
a healthy society, the development of digital services, the provision of targeted
assistance and the management system based on the principles of transparency
have set the stage for positive changes. In this thesis, detailed opinions and
reflections on the positive aspects in the social policy of the countries of Central
Asia are kept.

The social policy of the Central Asian states is important as the basis of the

stability, development and well-being of the region. The social policy of these
states is mainly aimed at developing human capital, ensuring social justice,
responding to the social needs of the population and forming a positive
relationship between the state and society.

After the independence of the Central Asian countries, a gradual

abandonment of the centralized model left over from the Soviet era, each state is
pursuing a policy based on its national characteristics, economic capabilities and
social needs. In this process, social policy promotes one of the most important
factors in society – human interests and values as a priority. Political decisions
in areas such as education, health, social protection, labor market regulation,
poverty alleviation, youth and women support ensure social stability.

Another important aspect of social policy is that through it, the state

practically manifests its obligations to citizens. For example, the availability of
necessary support and support mechanisms for disadvantaged citizens, the
elderly, the lonely or socially vulnerable groups increases confidence in the state

among the population. At the same time, through the development of
educational and health systems, the potential of the younger generation is
revealed, which serves for long-term progress.

Today, the governments of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan

and Turkmenistan strive to organize social policy on the basis of modern
standards. Approaches such as digitization, improving the quality of social
services, providing targeted assistance and encouraging the population to
participate actively are gaining relevance in this. In this way, social policy serves
not only as a means of meeting the daily needs of the population, but also as a
means of strengthening social solidarity in society, realizing human potential
and forming civil society.

Through reforms in several social sectors, health, education, employment

and social protection systems have been improved. In Uzbekistan, social policy
based on the principle of" for the sake of man " has been made a priority of state
policy. Through this, the mechanisms of social assistance were expanded and the
system of providing material and social assistance to the needy segments of the
population was automated. In Kazakhstan, within the framework of the" 2030
strategy", complex programs for the modernization of the educational and
medical system are being implemented, which is considered as an investment in
human capital.

Many programs are being implemented in Tajikistan in cooperation with

international organizations regarding poverty reduction, especially the
development of social infrastructure in rural areas. Kyrgyzstan, on the other
hand, focuses on encouraging active participation of citizens in social life by
strengthening civil society institutions. This country is developing a social
partnership between the state and the non-state sector.

Special attention is paid to young people in the countries of Central Asia.

Opportunities are expanding for them to get an education, get a job, and start
entrepreneurship. At the same time, the legislative framework is improving
towards supporting women, strengthening gender equality. Important measures
are also being taken in these states in order to form a healthy lifestyle of the
population, ensure environmental safety and improve the living environment.
They seek to improve the quality of life of citizens through reforms in the social
sphere while maintaining the stability of domestic policy.

The positive aspects of the social policy of the countries of Central Asia are

important factors that directly affect the development of the region. The main
positive aspects of this policy, first of all, serve to develop human capital,

increase the well-being of the population and ensure social stability. These
aspects affect the following:

First, the reform of the educational system and the creation of favorable

conditions for all layers leads to the development of youth potential, the
maturation of educated, competitive personnel. This sets the stage for long-term
economic and technological progress.

Secondly, the emphasis placed on the health system serves to improve the

health of the population. Quality and mass availability of medical services
prolongs life expectancy, ensures active participation of the working population.

Thirdly, the strengthening of social protection systems reduces the level of

social inequality. The opportunities created for the underprivileged, citizens
with disabilities, loners and people of retirement age strengthen the trust
between the state and society.

Fourth, a special focus on youth and women's politics increases their

activity in society, encourages active participation in social life. This serves to
form and strengthen civil society.

In addition, the improvement of social services on the basis of digital

technologies, the provision of targeted assistance and transparency serve as an
important factor in the fight against corruption. Thus, positive aspects of social
policy have a positive impact not only on the standard of living of the population,
but also on the economic, political and cultural development of the entire region.
The exchange of experience and increased cooperation in the field of social
policy between the countries of the region is the key to overall stability and
progress.

In conclusion

, the social policy of the countries of Central Asia is an

important factor determining the future of the region. Reforms aimed at
improving the quality of life of the population, approaches based on the
principles of social justice and equality, strengthened citizens' confidence in the
state. On the way to maintaining regional stability, ensuring progress and
building a modern society, positive aspects of this social policy are of strategic
importance.
