Main priority directions in the field of narratology of literary text
The article has dealt with priority directions of modern narratology: cognitive literary criticism, cognitive narratology, cognitive poetics and cognitive stylistics. The relevance of the study lies in the fact that the boundaries of modern trends in narratology are still being formed and clear demarcation lines between the studied areas have not yet been identified. The article makes an attempt to conditionally differentiate these directions. The research results are presented in the form of a diagram, according to which the hierarchy of modern trends in narratology in the field of studying a literary text from the standpoint of cognitivism is determined. Based on this scheme, it can be argued that cognitive literary criticism is at the head of this hierarchy, since the demarcation line between cognitive narratology and cognitive poetics runs through the object of research.Theoretically, the concept of cognitive literary criticism can serve as a generic name for them. It should be noted; however, that narratology as a theory of storytelling appeared in the depths of literary criticism. Thus, in cognitive studies of language and literature, we distinguish three segments of interdisciplinarity: cognitive stylistics, cognitive poetics, and cognitive narratology
