In the article, the main directions of pedagogical and psychological research during the years of independence were studied. In addition, during the years of Uzbekistan's independence, pedagogical and psychological research was carried out in several main directions. These areas are focused on such important issues as the development of the Uzbek education system, the effective organization of the educational process, the improvement of students' learning processes, and the solution of the problems of spiritual and educational education. Ways and methods of further improvement of the Uzbek education system, effective organization of the educational process have been studied. In the direction of psychological research, it is directed to the analysis of psychological relations between students, the preservation of mental health, the study and development of methods aimed at improving student learning. In the years of Uzbekistan's independence, psychological research included topics such as family and educational problems, inclusive education, youth education, student learning processes, cultural and moral education, and others. In general, the article contributes to the development of pedagogy and psychology in Uzbekistan. provided valuable insights and recommendations on educational policy, teaching practice and student well-being. They have helped shape the education system to meet the changing needs of students and society, promoting quality education and all-round development.
