Relevance of the problem
: The problem of tooth loss has always been relevant in human
history. In recent years, due to the diversity of food products, poor eating habits, neglect of oral
hygiene and other factors, the number of cases of dental problems, in particular, tooth loss, has been
increasing. Tooth loss not only affects the appearance, but also leads to many negative consequences,
such as impaired chewing function, speech impairment, digestive system disruption, deterioration
of psychological state and even exclusion from social life. Therefore, modern medicine, in particular
dentistry, is conducting research in various directions to solve this problem. Among the treatment
methods, dental implantation is recognized as one of the most effective and long-term solutions.
Lost teeth are restored functionally and aesthetically through implantation, which
significantly improves the patient's overall health and quality of life.
Especially in cases of tooth loss in middle-aged and older people, implantation remains the
most optimal solution. Dental implants play a major role not only in the physical health of the patient,
but also in their psychological well-being, restoring self-confidence, maintaining their ability to
work, and ensuring social adaptation. At the same time, it is important to thoroughly study this
technology, evaluate it scientifically, and improve it in practice.
Research methods and materials
: Fundamental and applied research methods were used
in writing this scientific work. The main methods are as follows: 1. Literature review: More than 50
scientific articles, clinical studies and technical documents published between 2015 and 2024 were
analyzed. The articles were taken from Elsevier, PubMed, ScienceDirect and other scientific
databases. 2. Comparative analysis: The results of dental implantation with traditional treatment
methods were compared. Indicators such as the effectiveness of both methods, treatment duration,
and patient satisfaction were compared. 3. Practical observation: Implantation processes, patient
complaints, and post-treatment results were observed in more than 10 dental clinics in Uzbekistan
and abroad. 4. Questionnaire method: Questionnaires were conducted with more than 200 patients
and about 50 dentists. The questionnaires assessed the patient's level of pain perception, quality of
life after implantation, and aesthetic satisfaction. 5. Clinical examples: Individual approaches were
analyzed using patients of different ages, genders, and health conditions. 6. Statistical analysis:

Statistical analysis was performed in the form of graphs and tables based on the collected
data. The processing and reliability were determined using IBM SPSS software.
Results
: The results of the study highlighted the following key aspects: 1. Overall
effectiveness of implantation: 92% of patients reported improved quality of life after dental
implantation, and 87% were completely satisfied with the aesthetic appearance. 78% of patients
noted that they were more active in social life due to implantation. 2. Chewing function: The number
of patients whose chewing function was fully restored with the help of dental implantation was 85%.
This figure was 52% for those using dentures (removable teeth). 3. Psychological state:
Psychological problems such as depression, self-doubt, and feelings of loneliness decreased
by 60% after implantation. 4. Complication rate: Of the 200 patients who participated in the study,
12 had minor problems (mild inflammation, pain). Serious complications (e.g., lack of bone
integration) were reported in only 3 cases (1.5%). 5. Cost and economic analysis: Each implant cost
an average of 4–6 million soums, which is 1.7 times more expensive than traditional prosthetics as
a long-term solution, but is more profitable in terms of efficiency over 3–5 years. 6. Physicians'
opinion: 95% of physicians recognized implantation as a reliable and stable solution. This
confidence was especially strengthened by modern CAD/CAM technologies, 3D scanning, and new
generation implants developed using lasers.
Discussion
: The results obtained show that dental implantation is of great importance not
only in terms of dental, but also in terms of general health, psychological state and social adaptation.
Implantation has many advantages over traditional prosthetic methods: their functional
stability, long life, high aesthetic value, high degree of adaptation to the patient's life.
One of the main advantages of this method is osseointegration, that is, the complete
integration of the implant into the jawbone. Through this process, the implant functions like a natural
tooth root and ensures the stability of the tooth structure. Modern materials used in implantation
(titanium, zirconium) are biocompatible, that is, they are compatible with the human div and do
not have a negative effect on it. This minimizes the immune response and reduces the risk of
infection. However, dental implantation cannot be considered an absolutely ideal method. If patients
do not have enough bone volume, bone transplantation is required. In addition, patients with chronic
diseases such as diabetes and osteoporosis may be at higher risk of complications. In particular, it
has been found that the probability of implant failure is 2 times higher in patients who smoke. The
economic factor also plays a major role. In the conditions of Uzbekistan, the ability of the majority
of the population to cover the costs of implantation is limited. This hinders the popularization of
modern technology.

However, in some clinics, efforts are being made to solve this problem through a phased
payment system, social projects and subsidy programs. In the future, more innovative technologies
are expected to be widely used in this area, such as nanoimplants, individual implants created using
3D-printing technology, and optimization of the implantation process based on artificial intelligence.
Conclusion
: The results of the study showed that dental implants are the most effective and
sustainable solution to the problem of tooth loss in modern dentistry. Their main advantages are: 1.
Functional stability - implants restore chewing function like natural teeth; 2. Aesthetic excellence -
in appearance they are indistinguishable from natural teeth; 3. Improved quality of life - the patient's
psychological state, speech and digestive process are restored; 4. Long service life - with proper
care, implants last 20 years or more; 5. Compatibility with modern technologies - an individual
approach to each patient is provided through 3D technology, artificial intelligence, CAD/CAM
systems. However, there are also problems and limitations: high cost, medical contraindications in
some patients, the possibility of complications and socio-economic barriers. Despite these
limitations, dental implants remain one of the most acceptable medical solutions today, not only
aesthetically, but also functionally and psychologically. In the near future, innovations and
technological advances will further develop this field, making it possible for a wider population to
access implant services.
