Rabbit color genetics

This article provides information on the scientific research conducted on rabbit breeding at the Center for Selection and Genetics, the development of rabbit breeding by breed and color. The article describes the patterns of heredity and variability of rabbits, their use in improving the color of skin and wool, which is one of the useful economic qualities of rabbits when creating new breeds of rabbits. The main characteristics of the genotypes and phenotypes of rabbits used in the experiments of the Center for Selection and Genetics of Rabbit Breeding are given.
