In the pathogenesis of endogenous intoxication with obstructive jaundice, the main role is played by sudden blockage of the biliary tract, leading to biliary hypertension. Cholestasis creates favorable conditions for the reproduction of microorganisms [Veronsky G.I., Shtofin S.G. 1999, Wu E.T., Chen H.L., Ni Y.H. et al. 2001, Mashinsky A.A., Lotov A.N. et al. 2002].
