Chronic heart failure (CHF) is the final stage of many cardiovascular diseases, characterized by morphological and functional disorders of the heart in response to damaging overloads and neuroendocrine influences. The observed increase in the number of patients with CHF in economically developed countries is associated primarily with an increase in the age of patients, as well as a significant improvement in care for patients with ischemia mimic heart disease and treatment of comorbid diseases. The prevalence of clinically pronounced CHF in the general population is at least 1.8-2.0%. In persons over 65 years of age, the frequency of CHF increases to 7-11%. However, CHF is the most common cause hospitalization of patients of this age, and the economic costs of its treatment increase many times [15].
