Performance evaluation of pulse therapy in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus

The work was carried out examination and treatment of 30 patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). All patients underwent synchronous intensive therapy (SIT), which included a three-fold plasmapheresis (PF) with removal of 40-60 ml of plasma per kg of patient weight at intervals of 4-5 days. After each PF intra-venously over 45 minutes was administered 1.0 MP, and after the second - more added 1.0 cyclophosphamide. The dose of oral prednisolone should not exceed 40 mg / day. In the second phase was introduced on a monthly basis only 1.0 cyclophosphamide.
