Preschool education is considered the primary link in the continuous education system, and it
plays a crucial role in nurturing a well-rounded and healthy child's personality and preparing
them for school. In our country, the attention directed towards the future of the youth and the
practical work carried out based on promising programs in the education system serves as a
strong foundation for the development of the homeland and society. Preschool educational
institutions provide the opportunity to develop literacy in children of preschool age, instill a
sense of love for the homeland and pride in it, and broaden their worldview. Children receiving
education and upbringing in modern kindergartens grow up to be respectable members of society.
In preschool education organizations, the educational and upbringing process for early and
preschool-aged children is planned based on State requirements and the "First Step" State
program. Currently, special attention is being paid to preparing children for quality school
education in preschool educational institutions envisioned by the Ministry of Preschool
Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan. In particular, the implementation of the "First Step"
State program in the educational process has established the importance of methodological
support and assistance in the comprehensive development of the program. Establishing
development centers in preschool educational institutions signifies the implementation of State

requirements and the "First Step" State educational program. The work in these centers is
organized in a way that allows for the most effective development of each child, taking into
account their individual characteristics, abilities, interests, and level of activity. This educational
program has been developed based on the best international practices and the experience of
South Korea. The main goal of the "First Step" educational program is to shape a person capable
of continuous development throughout their life. A key feature of the modern pedagogical
system is to stimulate children's interest in learning. This means that special attention must be
given to engaging children in the educational process. Another interesting innovation in the
system is the introduction of a child's development chart. It encompasses the period from age 3
to 7. The chart is filled out three times a year. After the child completes preschool education, at
around the age of 6-7, a school readiness chart is also completed.
This process is based on the new requirements of the state. It covers five main areas of child
development:
- Physical development and formation of a healthy lifestyle;
- Social-emotional development;
- Achievements in speech, communication, reading, and writing;
- Development of the knowledge acquisition process;
- Creative development.
Preschool education is the first form of education for children during childhood, specifically
from birth to 7 years old, and it lays the foundation for future success. At this stage, the
fundamental aspects of a child's life, such as physical, social, emotional, and intellectual
development, are realized. The importance of preschool education is reflected in the following
aspects:
- Personal development. Preschool education allows children to learn self-expression,
independent thinking, and acquire emotional and social skills. These are essential for becoming
successful individuals in the future.
- Engagement in the learning process. Preschool education encourages children to be interested
in learning and helps them to become part of the educational process. Children learn through
play, which enhances their interest in studying.
- Formation of a healthy lifestyle. Preschool education places great emphasis on developing a
healthy lifestyle, providing concepts of physical activity and proper nutrition.
- Development of creative abilities. Through play and creative activities, children develop their
creative skills, learning to create new things and express their thoughts.
- Social skills. Preschool education shapes social skills in children, which is crucial for their

future communication within groups.
For future success, preschool education must be of high quality and effective. The cooperation of
the state, teachers, and parents ensures that your child's educational process is participatory.
Innovative approaches, such as the "First Step" state educational program, promote
individualized strategies and the use of modern teaching methods, playing a crucial role in
nurturing future generations. Therefore, preschool education serves as the foundation for future
success, creating wide opportunities for every child.
