Activities of the veterinary statutory body for the regulation of veterinary practice in Kyrgyzstan

Abdugani Abdurasulov
To regulate the activities of private veterinarians in the republic, a statuary veterinary body has been created – the Veterinary Chamber of the Kyrgyz Republic. Those veterinarians who meet the minimum professional requirements based on test results are allowed to practice veterinary medicine. Registered with the Veterinary Chamber, private veterinarians conclude a contract with the district departments of state veterinary medicine for routine vaccination, diagnosis, treatment, and are responsible for ensuring epizootic well-being in the assigned territory.
