The article is dedicated to clarifying the artistic features of Uzbek folk proverbs. It is based on the active use of art such as iyjoz, ruju', kinoya, ishtiqoq, tazod, muqobala, majoz, which serve to strengthen and emphasize the meaning of folk proverbs.

This article examines the theme of corruption in contemporary Nigerian poetry through a qualitative content analysis of selected poems. The study sample comprises poems that explicitly address the theme of corruption in Nigerian society. The research design involves a close reading of the poems to identify the different poetic devices used to address the theme of corruption, as well as any recurring themes and motifs in the poems. The findings of the content analysis reveal that contemporary Nigerian poets use various poetic devices, including satire and metaphor, to express their frustration with the level of corruption in Nigerian society and to call for change. The article concludes with a discussion of the implications of the findings and the significance of the theme of corruption in contemporary Nigerian poetry. This study highlights the role of poetry as a medium for social critique and adds to the ongoing discourse on corruption in Nigeria.

Emotional maturity is a critical aspect of adolescent development, influencing their social interactions, academic performance, and overall well-being. The study utilizes a mixed-methods approach, incorporating quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews to gather data on emotional maturity. The findings shed light on the emotional development of students, identifying factors that contribute to or hinder emotional maturity. The article discusses the implications of the study's findings for educational institutions, parents, and policymakers, emphasizing the importance of nurturing emotional intelligence and providing appropriate support to enhance emotional maturity among higher secondary school students.

As a result of the development of international contacts at all levels and due to their increasing intensity, translation activity in all its varieties has acquired an unprecedented scope. Scientific and technological progress, covering all new areas of life, international cooperation in various fields, the expected population explosion, and other important phenomena of civilization lead to an unprecedented development of various kinds of contacts, both between states and between multilingual societies of people. Under these conditions, the role of translation as a means of serving the socio-political, economic, scientific, cultural, aesthetic and other relations of peoples is extremely growing.

"Kutadgu Bilig" has been translated into many languages of the world. In particular, translations into Western European languages are also very important. The work was translated into English for the first time by University of Chicago professor Robert Denkoff in 1983 and for the second time by English poet and translator Walter May in 1998. The history of the study of the work can be a separate object for a number of studies. It is worth noting that so far there have been several attempts in this direction. It is well known that adjectives are words that represent symbols of living things and events. Colorful adjectives tend to shoot. The fire properties in them give rise to semantic diversity and driving meanings. In the ancient Turkic language, colorful attributes have semantic meaning. The article examines the scope of the colorful attributes used in the ancient Turkic languages, as well as the linguistic and artistic aesthetics of adjectives.
