Abstract:
Technology has become an essential part of our today's life, influencing various
sectors worldwide. Technology is not only widely used in developed countries but also plays a
significant role in various fields in our own country. In the 21st century, known as the era of
technology, new types of technology are increasing day by day. For example: new version of
computers, televisions, mobile phones, laptops and artificial intelligence. It is fair to say that
technological advancements have made our lives easier and more comfortable than previous years.
This article explores the role of technology in society, its contribution to different sectors, its
development and success, as well as its positive and negative impact on humanity.

The word technology, which originates from the Greek language, is a broad concept applied
in all fields and daily life. Its main purpose is to improve human life, solve problems efficiently, and
enhance living standards. The development of different types of technology and the invention of new
ones has a significant impact on a country's economy and its population. The promotion of technology
in various fields helps to further develop specific industries. However, besides the conveniences it
provides for people, technology can also have negative effects. This article discusses the role of
technology in various fields, highlighting the conveniences it has created for humanity, its origins in
ancient times, and its current achievements. In addition to its successes, the article also explores the
negative impact of technology on humanity.
The 21st century is considered the era of technology because, today, many fields actively use
technological advancements. Of course, this process helps certain industries develop further and
makes life more convenient for people. It is also worth mentioning that technological progress can
contribute to our country's inclusion among the world's leading nations.
The importance of technology in society.
It should be noted that in today's advanced era,
education is also reaching new heights. New reforms are being implemented in the learning process,
and there is a focus on studying foreign teaching methods and applying them in our education system.

can use a single USB device to show their slides or presentation to students through this board.
The Zoom platform - is not only important in other areas, but it also plays a significant role in
teaching. This program makes it possible to create distance education. Teachers and students can

of the country, the use of technology helps further develop the sector and increase production
efficiency.
Automating production processes is a clear factor in boosting productivity and production
levels.
In the digital economy and e-commerce, there are features that enable online trading. Apps
such as Alibaba, Ozon, Wildberries, and Temu are examples of this.
The role of technology in the healthcare system.
Certainly, one of the most valuable things for
humanity is health, and technology’s contribution to the healthcare system is very significant. This is
because it plays a crucial role in early diagnosis and accelerating the treatment process. Regardless of
the area of medicine, technology is considered an integral part of healthcare. We should acknowledge
the following points:

Its role in examining internal organs, diagnosing diseases, and providing treatment;
•
Its contribution to carrying out laboratory or scientific procedures that are vital for human life;
•
Its part in the advancement of physiotherapy procedures;
The development and success of technology.
The development of technology is one of the most
crucial factors for people, and its progress has a significant impact on the improvement of our daily
lives.
In the early period of microscopy development, it is important to note the Industrial
Revolution, which took place in the 18th century. As a result of this revolution, technological
advancements were made in mechanical engineering, assembly metallurgy, and other fields.
For example, one only needs to mention the steam engine, created in the second half of the
18th century by James Watt and his colleagues. Those who were amazed by James Watt’s discoveries
stated:
"Although the industrial revolution lasted for ten years, it was the greatest and most dramatic
change in the history of humanity." Even a single technological invention had a great impact on the
world and the economy of an entire country, leading that country out of stagnation.
Additionally, it is worth mentioning Bill Gates, the founder of Microsoft, because his simple
interest led to the creation of a computer program essential for all human beings. He founded
Microsoft in 1975, which propelled him to a leadership position in computer program development.
Advantages of technology to people.
Technology has brought great convenience to our daily
lives. In particular, online commence, freelancing and trading have become very popular in recent
years. Young people are interested in these professions and earn income by applying their economic
and technological knowledge. Unlike traditional jobs, these careers offer the flexibility to work freely
and access the global market.
The Amazon Kindle has revolutionized the way people read and acquire knowledge.
Introduced in 2007, this device provides a convenient way to read electronic versions of books,
newspapers, and magazines. Some of its main advantages include:
-Wireless internet connection – users can download books from anywhere.
-Google search integration – allows direct access to information from the text.
-MP3 and audiobook support – enables users to listen to content instead of just reading.
-Such technologies make life easier and enhance the learning experience. It is no surprise that
young people are highly interested in these innovations, as technological advancements continue to
create new opportunities for them.

Downsides of technology.
If we talk about the negative aspects of technology, we should recall
the protests organized by textile factory workers in England between 1811 and 1817. The reason for
these protests was the introduction of technology into the factories, which led to many workers losing
their jobs. So, does technology still have the potential to replace human roles in society today?
Considering the use of robots in hotels and restaurants in developed countries, I believe that in the
near future, society will be fully controlled by technology. In other words, robots and similar
technologies will take over all human services and responsibilities. This is something that would
undoubtedly be unpleasant for people to hear.
Therefore, instead of using technology for tasks that humans can already perform, we should
utilize it for scientific and laboratory experiments that involve danger to human life. This way,
everything in society will remain in its rightful place.
Conclusion.
We can say that the current level of technological development continues to have
a great impact on humanity. I truly hope that in the next 10 years, we will see even higher levels of
success, convenience, and efficiency in other areas than those mentioned above. Moreover, in the
future, pioneers like James Watt and Bill Gates, who have created groundbreaking innovations and
research in technology, will emerge once again. I hope that in the future, technology will not surpass
humans, and for that, we must use our intelligence to make the most efficient use of technology. In
this age of advanced technology, only a few of us are able to fully develop ourselves and create a life
even more beautiful than we can imagine!
