Development of methodology of preservation and restoration of architectural monuments of Khiva

The aim of the research is to identify historical methods used in architectural monuments of Khiva and to improve the architectural-compositional criteria of the monuments, which arc aimed at efficient use of monuments.
The scientific novelty' of the research is as follows:
It has been established that the architectural-building traditions inherent to the ancient civilization of the Khorczmian state were formed during the VI-XII centuries and the school of national architecture in the period of Khiva khanate (XV-XX centuries);
the center of the Middle Ages (Kohna Ark), the secondary center (Tash-Hovli) and the complex of traditional settlements have been identified;
the coincidence of minimal vertical accents in the formation of the old city composition;
the first ever database of architectural monuments, the history of the architectural monuments, the objects they use, the architectural composition, the exact size, the historical photographs, the methods used, the devices and monuments;
the architectural monument's artistic style, the decorations of the tassel, the style and properties of its properties;
the sequence of architectural activities aimed at ensuring the preservation of the ground and the groundless part of the science used in the restoration of towers;
the preservation of the architectural monuments and the effective use of them, the rebuilding of 10 protected areas of Ichan-Kala and Dcshon-Kala area has expanded the opportunity to serve foreign and local tourists.
