Subject of research: process of improving skills of special subjects teachers of professional colleges.
Purpose of work: creating of technology of training-methodical provision for improving skills of professional colleges teachers through distant education.
Methods of research: the analysis, supervision, conducting of tests, questionnaires, conversations, an expert evaluation, the pedagogical experimental works, a generalisation and mathematical statistical processing results studies.
The results obtained and their novelty: proved the necessity of creating and introduction of training-methodical provision for distant education in process improving skills of the teachers of special subjects; the training-methodical of distant improving skills of the teachers of special subjects components have been defined, its components and structure on the main requirements have been created; the technology of creating of training-methodical provision for distant improving skills of the teachers of special subjects.
Practical value: results of research can be used by the improving skills institutions for conducting distant courses on upgrading and creating of its training-methodical support.
Degree of embed and economic effectivity: developed materials on distant courses for qualification improvement, the training-methodical and the electronic multimedia manuals arc successfully practiced by the Resource Centers on Distant Loaming and Regional Training and Retraining Centers.
Field of application: system of improving skills and retraining of personnel for senior secondary vocational education.
