Annotation. This article discusses the significance of English proficiency in
today's global landscape, highlighting the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in
enhancing language learning methods. It introduces ChatGPT, a sophisticated AI
developed by OpenAI, known for its ability to engage users in human-like text
interactions, thereby improving understanding and retention of English language
concepts. The article outlines various effective learning methods, such as
interleaved practice and learning through teaching, both of which can be facilitated
by ChatGPT. Additionally, it emphasizes the advantages of utilizing ChatGPT for
students, including conversational practice, grammar assistance, and vocabulary
expansion. By integrating AI into English language learning, the article argues for
a more effective, enjoyable, and motivating educational experience.

Introduction.
Proficiency in English is crucial in today's global society for
international communication and its dominance in education, business, science, and
technology. Over 1.5 billion people worldwide are currently learning English,
making it the most widely studied language globally. English serves as the primary
language for international organizations, academic publications, and technological
innovation, leading to increasing demand for efficient and effective language
learning methods. The advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies has
notably enhanced English language learning in recent years. AI-powered interactive

applications, voice assistants, automated translation systems, and personalized
learning platforms have simplified and accelerated the learning process.
Main part.
ChatGPT, developed by OpenAI, is an advanced AI program
designed to understand and generate human-like text. It learns language patterns by
analyzing extensive textual data from the internet, acquiring knowledge about
sentence structure, vocabulary usage, and language rules—much like how children
learn, but significantly faster. Moreover, ChatGPT improves through Reinforcement
Learning from Human Feedback, enhancing its responses by rewarding accurate and
contextually appropriate interactions. It can answer follow-up questions, modify
responses based on user instructions, reject inappropriate requests, and clarify
incorrect assumptions.
ChatGPT actively supports the learning process by engaging students
interactively, transforming language acquisition into an enjoyable and effective
experience. Such engagement motivates students, leading to improved academic
performance and positive educational attitudes. Educators can leverage AI tools to
facilitate and streamline learning.
Benefits of Learning with Artificial Intelligence
Educators and language institutions benefit significantly from AI integration.
Large language models (LLMs) like ChatGPT enable students to efficiently absorb
extensive materials, optimizing their learning experience. Effective AI-driven
learning methods save time and energy, promoting quicker comprehension, better
academic results, and increased student motivation.
Effective Learning Methods Supported by AI
The King of the Ring Method.
The "king of the ring" or interleaved practice
method alternates exercises from different topics instead of studying isolated blocks.
Inspired by Muhammad Ali’s varied training, this method prepares students for
unexpected scenarios and enhances cognitive flexibility.
For example, math learning can involve mixing exercises such as equations
(A), inequalities (B), and functions (C) in a sequence like A1, B1, C1, A2, B2, C2.
This mixed approach promotes deeper cognitive engagement, enhancing

The Teacher Method.
This method emphasizes learning through teaching.

organization, reinforcing students' grasp of the material. With ChatGPT, students
can practice explaining topics, respond to queries, and refine their explanations
through interaction. This promotes deeper comprehension and prepares students for
future teaching roles.
Learning English with ChatGPT
Students proficient in basic English can use ChatGPT to significantly
enhance their language skills through:
- Conversational practice with simple prompts
- Grammar and tense practice in a safe environment
- Creative activities to boost expression and confidence
- Vocabulary expansion through interactive dictionary-like features
- Error correction for grammar, punctuation, and spelling
- Instant access to information for homework assistance and general
knowledge
Advantages of Using ChatGPT in Learning

interests.
- Automation: Generates study materials like summaries, flashcards, and
quizzes, saving time.
- Quick Information Access: Provides immediate and concise answers,
enhancing efficiency.
- Interactivity: Engages students actively through dialogue, promoting

Artificial Intelligence is revolutionizing English language
teaching by providing personalized instruction, improved accessibility, and
