  Carrying out measures for individual oral hygiene and treatment of periodontal diseases at outpatient appointments in patients with caries To .'s article «Performance of actions of individual hygiene of an oral cavity and treatment of diseases periodont on out-patient-polyclinic reception at caries treatment» On the basis of examination of quality of treatment of caries on out-patient-polyclinic reception it is established that prevalence of periodontal diseases at the patients who have addressed concerning treatment of caries and its complications, has made 87,57 %. Thus the actions referred on improvement of a hygienic status of an oral cavity are carried out only in 1,36-20,21 % that is the factor reducing quality of treatment of caries.

  Treatment of fractures of the condylar process of the lower jaw in patients with concomitant traumatic brain injury Among the combined craniofacial trauma injuries occur in 13,4-20,3% of cases [5, 12]. Mortality among these victims is high and reaches 70-90% [5, 6]. Given the traumatic nature and technical complexity of operations in unilateral condylar process fractures of the mandible with displacement of bone fragments, involving possible serious complications (such as damage to the maxillary artery ushno-temporal nerve and meniscus), we have proposed a more restrained approach to the appointment of the operation and use of a simple and functional orthopedic method. After splint Tigershtedta in the last molars on the side condyle fracture of the lower jaw with the shortening of the height of the branches were made and put our proposed special interdental pad of fast-plastic, then put premaxillary rubber traction. With these pads leveled bite. Our method can reliably fix the fragments in position, remove the load on the damaged joint, with the same function. It promotes early recovery function of the lower jaw. This will protect the fixation of large vessels, the branches of the facial nerve and scar formation in the skin. Thus, this technique can be recommended as a method of choice in the treatment of fractures of the condylar process of the lower jaw with a shift in general and for combined cranial and maxillofacial injuries in particular.
