This article highlights the importance of a technology teacher in mastering digital technologies and effectively using them in the educational process. Digital competence includes not only technical knowledge for technology teachers, but also pedagogical approaches. The article also offers practical recommendations, necessary curricula and methodological approaches aimed at forming digital competence of technology teachers. Improving the digital skills of teachers is an important factor in achieving successful results in the modern education system, and this article can be used in the process of training and professional development of teachers.

Abstract:

This article highlights the importance of a technology teacher in

mastering digital technologies and effectively using them in the educational
process. Digital competence includes not only technical knowledge for
technology teachers, but also pedagogical approaches. The article also offers
practical recommendations, necessary curricula and methodological approaches
aimed at forming digital competence of technology teachers. Improving the
digital skills of teachers is an important factor in achieving successful results in
the modern education system, and this article can be used in the process of
training and professional development of teachers.

Introduction

Currently, the changes taking place in the education system are ensuring

the transition of the educational process to a new level on a global scale. One of
the main reasons for such changes is the rapid development of innovative
technologies. Modern technologies are fundamentally changing not only our
daily lives, but also the education system. In this regard, the importance of
digital competence for technology teachers is increasing. Digital competence not
only allows teachers to effectively use technological tools, but also allows them
to apply new approaches and methods in their pedagogical activities.

Digital competence is the teacher's skills and abilities to use digital

technologies in the educational process. Digital competence of teachers includes
the use of digital tools, the use of Internet resources for pedagogical purposes,
teaching students innovative methods, and the development of education using
modern technologies. The special importance of digital competence for teachers
is that the use of technologies in the modern education system not only provides
students with knowledge, but also creates opportunities for them to develop
creative thinking, independent research, and advanced technological skills.

In addition, the use of digital competence in the educational process

encourages teachers to expand their knowledge, improve and update

pedagogical methods. For example, interactive educational technologies,
distance learning platforms, online tests, and other digital resources help
organize education tailored to the individual needs of students. These changes

students.

The development of digital competence in education has a significant

impact on improving the skills of teachers and mastering new pedagogical
approaches and technologies. The teacher's study of digital technologies,
updating his knowledge and skills not only increases the effectiveness of his own
work, but also creates new opportunities for teaching students.

With the help of digital educational tools, students can learn more

effectively through interactive reading, visual and auditory materials. This not
only makes the process of learning interesting and effective, but also develops
students' creative thinking and problem-solving skills. Teachers also have the
opportunity to monitor their activities and adapt them to the individual needs of
students.

The development of digital competence in the education system is also a

necessary tool for students to acquire a global outlook, master modern
technologies, and develop 21st century competencies. In this process, the
integration of the digital environment into the educational process opens up
new opportunities for teachers and students and further improves the quality of
education.

Therefore, digital competence is a key tool for technology teachers not only

to increase interest in technology, but also to enable students to learn and
expand their knowledge. The successful use of digital technologies in the
education system provides teachers with the opportunity to carry out their
pedagogical activities in new and effective ways.

Conclusion

The article analyzes in detail the issue of digital competence of a technology

teacher. Digital competence is a key factor in the effective use of modern
technologies in the educational process, providing students with new
pedagogical methods and innovative approaches. Teachers, through the use of
digital tools, create an opportunity to expand students' knowledge, develop their
creative and analytical thinking skills. Digital competence also requires not only
increasing the technological knowledge of teachers, but also updating and
improving their pedagogical approaches.

The development of digital competence for technology teachers not only

increases the effectiveness of students' learning, but also helps teachers to
constantly update their skills and apply pedagogical innovations. The role of
digital technologies in modern education is increasingly increasing, and this
requires teachers to acquire new skills.

Therefore, it is necessary to create special programs, trainings and

resources in the education system to improve the digital competence of
technology teachers. This will make it easier for teachers to learn digital tools
and integrate them into the pedagogical process. Developing digital competence,
in turn, will improve the quality of education and make the process of learning
more effective for students using modern technologies.
