There are some important stages in the process of psychomotor development in children. A period of sports-related activities is included in these stages. At this stage, which covers the period of childhood, the level of physical and motor development of children increases significantly. Physical and motor development is supported by directing children of this age group to sports. One of the most important motor skills that children develop through playing sports is strength. Children's strength development is positively influenced by appropriate exercises to support strength development. Research aimed at developing strength in children should take into account the principles of psychomotor development in order to achieve the best results and eliminate the risks of any disability in children. This study focuses on strength development in children, the contribution of sports to strength development, strength training in children and strength training in children.
