Abstract:
What is bilingual education? Bilingual education is becoming the trend of last
decades, but not every parent knows what this word actually means. The essence of
bilingual education is the bilingual presentation of school subjects. It is not limited to
grammar, vocabulary or just listening cartoons in English. A foreign language becomes
a mechanism of cognition, not its purpose. So the subjects like mathematics, biology,
physics, art history and foreign literature are taught exclusively in English. Russian
language or Mother Tongue is educated in Russian or Mother Tongue class only.
However, a number of schools and kindergartens consider themselves to be «bilingual»,
just teaching kids to English only twice a week. This article provides information about
real bilingual education , about its opportunities and obstacles and about development
and implementation of intercultural bilingual education.

Introduction
Key advantage of bilingual learning is a deep comprehending of the logic of the
language. The child ceases to perceive English as a foreign language. He begins to speak
and think fluently in it. This starts off new prospects for self-realization:
Easily entering to any prestigious Universities. As bilingual children receive
IELTS or TOEFL certificates without any problems, therefore they can be admitted in
any chosen university. Most of the worldwide universities offer a training format in
English.
A highly paid job. It is fact that people who have a clue of English language earns
20% money more than usual worker. And this applies only CIS countries.
Access to scientific publications. Approximately 80% of internet Scientific
information and paper are provided in English language.
Simplified learning of other West Germanic group. German and Dutch languages
seems easier for the ones who already know English since they have some similarities.
This list only a small number of advantages of bilingual learning. Regular English
classes cannot give perfect result. In regular English class process builds up a «Language
barrier».

Today there can be found bilingual school in Karakalpakstan, too. However, most
parents have the fear for giving their children to educate there, since they think that they
will forget about their Mother Language. In actual fact, child can face with the two
language difficulty in the term of using it through 1 to 2 years. After getting accustomed
to English and to his Mother language, he/she will know in which circumstances to
utilize specific language clearly.

Over the last 20 years the study of bilingualism has attracted a big amount of
attraction from linguists, neuroscientist, cognitive scientists and even psychologists. And
how many people in the world are bilingual and how many of them are successful? It is
shown that 43% of world population is bilingual. Almost half of all people who are
residing in Planet can effectively communicate in more than one language.
There are number of successful people who have common features. One is that
they are hardworking and ambitious. Two, they do not let the failure and mistakes to
prevent them from success. Three, most of them know more than one language. As
speaking multiple languages is not only benefit to seem impressing in society. Bilingual
people`s brain are also sharper and appears better at multitasking. Also it opens up to
more career opportunities. So there is provided some successful people who can inspire
to be bilingual.
Mark Zuckerberg. Story that turned from mess to technological wealth. It is
obvious that knowing Mandarin language helped him in this way. He claims that he
learns Mandarin on a daily basis, to have communication with his wife`s relatives. But
there is speculation that he learnt it with business reason (like potential negotiations with
Chinese government about its ban on Facebook platform.
Jack Ma. This person who started the online shopping market in China which is
now considered to be the sixth largest internet company was once 12 years old boy who
rode his bike to local hotel in order to give free tours in English to the tourists. He
eventually became an English teacher and later that all led to his success as a tech leader.
Shakira. In addition to being a stunning singer with impressing voice. She is a
polyglot woman who speaks in Spanish, English, French, Russian, German and Mandarin
languages fluently. Perhaps as a result she has managed to sell millions of records
worldwide.
These are the most deserving people who prove that knowing more than one
language can open up a tremendous amount of facilities into bright future.
Conclusion
As today bilingual learning is developing internationally. From 10522 schools in
Republic of Uzbekistan bilingual Schools are a total of 221. In actual fact, it is not
enough to children in whose hands there is progress of the country. Children who know
another language apart from their Mother tongue will have the power to contribute
themselves to society`s development and implementation. So if the government tends to
set up new bilingual schools in which children will be taught to secular sciences in the
foreign language, there will be a great possibility of economic, social and political
growth.
