Optimization of diagnosis and treatment of acute intestinal obstruction in children

The article summarizes the experience of treating 226 children with various forms of acute intestinal ob-struction. Reflects the structure and the frequency of certain types of intestinal obstruction, diagnostic meth-ods, surgical technique and results of treatment. Possibilities of ultrasonography in the diagnosis, differential diagnosis and monitoring the effectiveness of treatment of intestinal obstruction in children. To improve the diagnostic and therapeutic tactics in intussusception. The authors conclude that ultrasonography significantly expands diagnostic capabilities to determine the optimal treatment policy and conduct monitoring of the ef-fectiveness of treatment for various forms of intestinal obstruction.
