The identification of causative agent of cutaneous leishmaniasis with polymer chain reaction

The molecular-biological method (polymerase chain reaction) for identification of causative agent of cutaneous leishmaniasis was used. Revealing of deoxyribonucleic acid of causative agent of antroponotic form of cutaneous leishmaniasis (Leishmania tropica) in the samples taken from patients living in Mubarek – traditionally known as zoonotic focus of cutaneous leishmaniasis - allow us to make the conclusion that intensity of epidemiological process is increasing and that the antroponotic form of cutaneous leishmaniasisis spreading in this region. In other regions earlier safe from cutaneous leishmaniasis Leishmania tropica – causative agent of antroponotic form of cutaneous leishmaniasis was revealed that testifies the active spreading of the disease.
