Introduction:

Every year, the first day of spring in our

country is celebrated in harmony with the birthday of
the People's Poet of Uzbekistan Zulfiya. After all, the
poet's high human qualities still serve as an example for
young people today. Her prolific work and beautiful
poetry are loved and read by all lovers of literature.
Zulfiyakhanim is one of the creators of our great
literature with her own poetic style and unique creative
world. The poet's poems completely captivated
literature fans, showing that her creative prospects are
bright. They say that all the beauties in life are created
because of the love for a woman. No matter what field
they work in, whether they are housewives or
educators, our women add beauty to every day of life
with their knowledge, skill, and love. There is also great
meaning in the fact that the world of women occupies
a special place in the poet's poems. Therefore, her
creativity and exemplary qualities are remembered as
a worthy role model for many girls.

The theme of spring is reflected in Zulfiya's work in a
very deep and touching way. Her poetry describes the
spring season not only as a renewal of the outside
world, but also as an awakening, renewal of the human
spirit and a step towards new hopes. For Zulfiya, spring
is a symbol of leaving behind the cold of the past winter
and striving for new opportunities and dreams. The

theme of spring in her poems reflects the beauty of
nature, the transition to a new stage of life and the
awakening of the soul, as well as spiritual renewal.

SPRING CAME TO ASK YOU

In the cool mornings, in the almond blossom,

Spring on the purple lips, on the lands.

The flight of birds, the gentle breeze,

Spring in the velvet valleys, on the hills...

How much you loved spring, my dear,

The charm of apricot flowers.

As if every awakened bud gave life,

You kissed it on your eyes.

Here is my precious one, spring has come again,

It searched for you, it wandered around.

It caught you by the edge of winter and asked you,

It also shed tears and retreated.

While searching for you, it became a ghost,

It searched for the path you walked.

To write down its beauty,

It searched for green leaves.

Unable to find it, his patience ran out and a storm broke
out,

and he took his head to the ravines.

Farhad searched for a tree in the mountains,

He knocked down the mountain's stone in the valleys.

He asked the shepherds who were the first to go to the
fields,

Where is the poet?

Seeing silence and sadness everywhere,

He came exhausted, his patience was gone...

Then he entered my bed, radiant,

He kissed the cheeks of Hulkar and Aman.

The triumph that had soaked into my cheeks and
burned my tears

Slowly told me about himself.

But not finding you in my bed,

He remained staring at one point for a long time.

The wind blew again, and it wandered,

It asked me, seeking my heart:

"When I came, did you greet me with a smile,

Songs were flowing in waves?

"Do you ask me, alone, whether I am happy?"

"Was it wrapped in poetry, loving me?"

Why doesn't it cover itself with apricot blossoms,

Let its hair flutter in the wind?

Why doesn't it write and sing in the spring that I
brought?

How could it look at the morning with such love,

It would perfect my vast imagination.

In its colorful, charming song

I would constantly see my own beauty.

Where is that singer, the dreamy young man?

Why are you standing there with tears in your eyes, you
are so sad?

Why are you wearing a black dress, white in your hair,

Why are you so distraught in my arms?

How can I answer, my tongue is speechless.

I grabbed everything and came to you.

He also wandered with your sadness in the evening,

I could not stand to look at your gravestone.

He moved to a tree, burning with pain,

The sorrow awakened the bud and sold it.

Unstable with your memory,

He reached the flower bed bit by bit.

The fragrance of flowers and basil spread,

A soft song covered the sky

How familiar, close this song is,

How life-giving, full of fire.

In the land you loved, covered with spring,

Your voice sounded passionate, resounding.

You are not dead, my soul, you are life,

I have not breathed without you yet.

In my heart of Hijra, your word is in my hand,

I sing of life, I retreat,

You are in my dreams at night, in my memories during
the day,

I am life, you are life too!

This beautiful poem has been on the lips of readers for
many years. This year marks the 110th anniversary of
the birth of Zulfiya, who brought youthful joy and
spring mood to hearts with her life-giving, timeless
poems. Her literary heritage is incredibly rich, and
dozens of her books have taken a strong place in the
treasury of Uzbek literature. The poetess has won the
love of our people not only with her artistic creativity,
but also as a symbol of the loyalty and devotion
inherent in an Uzbek woman. Her

series of poems “A

Day in the Field”, “Song of the Morning”, collections
such as “Men tongni kuyulynam”, “Yuragimy yakin
kişir”, “Kuylarim ikuyge” passionately sing the hymns of

the Motherland and the lives of people who are selfless
in the process of labor. It is no exaggeration to say that
Zulfiya's poem "My son, there will be no war", which
was included in the high school textbook, was also
written with maternal happiness, love, and wishes. The
reason is that the threat of World War II in those years

influenced the poet's work. Her writings "My son needs
life" still encourage us all to appreciate our peaceful era
today. Zulfiyakhanim, through her rich literary heritage
and her work as an active public figure, showed how
high the potential of Uzbek women is, and with her
graceful creativity, she taught millions of people about
kindness, love, and loyalty. Every word she said is
imprinted in the heart as a symbol of kindness, truth,
and compassion.

Zulfiya's work is not only an important cultural
monument of her time, but also one of the unique
achievements of Uzbek literature. In her works, the
poetess combined nature, the human spirit and social
issues, opening up new directions in literature. The
depth of Zulfiya's poetry, her uniqueness in covering
spiritual and social topics, made her works significant
and must-read works even today. Her work made a
great contribution not only to Uzbek literature, but also
to the culture of the whole world. In general, a lot can
be said about the poetess' poems. When we read her
poems, feelings such as modesty, eloquence,
humanity, loyalty, and love, which are characteristic
and appropriate for an Uzbek woman, spontaneously
surge in our hearts. Perhaps that is why her poems still
resonate in our hearts.
