The scientific novelty lies in the fact that, for the first time, based on radio broadcast texts in English, Russian, and Uzbek, the phonetic, morphological, syntactic, and semantic features of the formation of radio broadcasting terminology were comprehensively studied, and their linguocultural specificity was identified. The results obtained can be applied in fields such as cognitive linguistics, linguocultural studies, text linguistics, and translation studies, as well as in scientific research and educational processes.

In Mexican Spanish, expressions enriched with personal pronouns (e.g., “Te agradezco”) are more commonly used, whereas in Peninsular Spanish, more neutral forms are preferred. These differences reflect the influence of cultural traditions and social norms. The study is based on Searle’s speech act theory and links the illocutionary force of gratitude with its contextual usage. The article highlights the adaptability of gratitude expressions in Spanish and emphasizes the importance of exploring other Spanish-speaking regions in future research. By analyzing gendered imagery and attitudes toward knowledge in proverbs, the paper reveals cultural differences in portraying men's and women’s intellectual capacities and social roles. Uzbek proverbs often embed traditional gender roles within a collectivist and agrarian context, associating knowledge with male authority and domestic wisdom with women. English proverbs, while more neutral linguistically, subtly convey gendered stereotypes shaped by individualism and social critique. This study highlights the importance of gendered linguistic analysis for understanding cultural attitudes toward knowledge and the implications for cross-cultural communication.

The lexical units used in the work are classified into semantic groups, and their morphological formation and spiritual-aesthetic significance are examined. Particular attention is given to semantic phenomena, including synonymy, antonymy, homonymy, metaphor, and metonymy. The article contributes to a deeper understanding of Navoi’s artistic language capabilities by studying the lexical richness of the work. The research findings enable the classification of the vocabulary in this work based on modern linguistic approaches.

This article presents a linguocultural analysis of phraseological units in the works of Sadriddin Ayni. The cultural elements reflected in these phraseological units were analyzed in comparison with other phrases. Special attention was given to the significance of the phraseological units, their function in the literary works, and the contextual meaning of linguocultural elements in the text. Additionally, the current state of research in linguoculturology was briefly discussed. From the phraseological units in Ayni's works, only expressions containing cultural elements were selected and compared with other expressions featuring the same cultural unit.

This article examines the stylistic evolution of science fiction from its pulp origins to contemporary manifestations such as cyberpunk and postmodern science fiction. It argues that despite the emergence of literary sophistication, experimental narration, and thematic complexity in modern SF, the structural and narratological foundations of pulpstyle remain widely influential. The genre’s traditional features—such as linear narrative progression, speculative extrapolation, and dialogic exposition—are frequently retained, even in texts that appear to subvert genre norms. Through a comparative analysis of cyberpunk, the article demonstrates how the subgenre transforms but does not abandon the aesthetic logic of pulp, fusing New Wave literary reflexivity with Golden Age scientific rigor. It critiques the frequent conflation of science fiction with postmodernism, suggesting instead that science fiction is distinguished by its commitment to epistemological inquiry, ethical individualism, and narrative resolution, often contrasting sharply with postmodern fiction’s ontological ambiguity and open-endedness. The article further challenges the assumption that science fiction’s “juvenile” label undermines its seriousness, arguing that its didactic function, especially in adult readership, enhances its cognitive and ethical dimensions. It critiques the literary canon's exclusion of SF and calls for a genre-specific poetics grounded in science fiction’s unique formal mechanisms—including cognitive estrangement, world-building, and kinetic storytelling. Finally, the article invites rethinking critical terminology by developing a historical poetics rooted within the science fiction tradition itself rather than relying on imported frameworks from mainstream literary theory. This study contributes to ongoing debates about literary value, canon formation, and narrative function, proposing a reevaluation of science fiction not as marginal literature but as a dynamic, self-reflexive genre that uniquely bridges ontology, epistemology, and narrative drive.

Linguocultural analysis of phraseologisms used in Kashkadarya folk epics

This article presents a linguocultural analysis of the phraseological units used in the folk epics of Qashqadaryo, specifically "Nurali va Semurug", "Kelinoy or Norguloy", "Jorkhun maston", and "Turkman dakhosi or Makhtumquli". The research explores how these epics reflect the national values, traditions, customs, and peculiarities of daily life, as well as the national mentality, beliefs, attitudes toward nature and society, historical records, and, in general, the cultural heritage of the people. The study focuses on several phraseological expressions such as "boshiga qora kunni solmoq", "kallasi shishmoq", "boshi osmon(oy)ga yetmoq", "bosh ko‘tarolmay qolmoq", "ko‘zi to‘rt bo‘lmoq", "ko‘z qirini tashlamoq", "ko‘ziga cho‘p suqmoq", "ko‘ngliga kelmoq", "ko‘ngli to‘lmoq", "ko‘nglidagidek bo‘lmoq", "quloq solmoq", and "quloq tutmoq". These phraseological units are analyzed from a linguocultural perspective, with an emphasis on the methods of comparison, metaphor, and analogy used to represent the world. The article concludes with final remarks and suggestions.

This article analyzes the na‘t (eulogies of the Prophet) chapters in the Khamsa epics by the sultan of the realm of words, Nizomiddin Mir Alisher Navoi. In classical Eastern literature, it is difficult to imagine praise of the Prophet (peace be upon him) without mention of the Isra and Mi'raj night. It is well known that the night of Isra and Mi'raj holds a significant place in the history of our Islamic religion and in the works of our classical writers, including that of Hazrat Navoi.
