HYALURONAN/CHITOSAN HYDROGELS FOR LOCAL DELIVERY OF DOXORUBICIN
Cancer is a leading cause of death worldwide, and conventional treatments like chemotherapy often cause significant systemic toxicity. Targeted drug delivery systems are therefore essential. Hydrogels, with high fluid retention and balanced structure, provide an ideal platform for local, controlled delivery. This study focuses on hyaluronan–chitosan hydrogels for localized doxorubicin delivery. Hyaluronan, a natural polysaccharide, offers biocompatibility and degradability, while chitosan enables high drug loading and promotes cell adhesion. Together, they encapsulate doxorubicin for controlled release at the target site. The inclusion of sodium alginate and polyvinyl alcohol optimizes hydrogel structure and properties, aiming to increase local drug concentration, reduce side effects, and improve treatment outcomes. The study investigates hydrogel preparation, characterization, and performance, highlighting their potential in enhancing cancer therapy and advancing innovative drug delivery strategies

STUDY OF THE COMBINED ACTIVITY OF POLYHEXAMETHYLENE GUANIDINE HYDROCHLORIDE AND TETRAMETHYLENEDIAMINETETRAMINE AGAINST CLINICAL ISOLATES
The widespread availability and use of antibacterial and antiseptic agents have led to the emergence of antimicrobial resistance among many strains of pathogenic and conditionally pathogenic microorganisms. Antibiotic resistance poses a particular challenge in the treatment of nosocomial infections in hospital settings, especially in intensive care units (ICUs). Addressing the pharmacotherapy of nosocomial infections in ICUs remains one of the most pressing issues in modern medicine. To tackle this problem, novel antimicrobial agents as well as their combined activity are being investigated. Synergistic interactions between antimicrobials can facilitate therapy and enhance efficacy at lower doses, thereby reducing adverse and toxic effects on the human body

EFFECT OF POLYPHENOLS ISOLATED FROM EUPHORBIA FRANCHETII (B.FEDTSCH) ON LPO PROCESSES IN MITOCHONDRIA
The production of free radicals in various tissues and cells of the body through many endogenous and exogenous pathways causes oxidative stress, which leads to the development of various diseases in humans. Therefore, the study of the antioxidant properties of biologically active substances isolated from plants is of great importance. It is known that epidemiologically, fruits and vegetables rich in antioxidants in the diet prevent the development of many diseases associated with oxidative stress. Recent studies have shown that mitochondria play an important role in apoptotic and necrotic cell death. As a result of mitochondrial dysfunction, the number of mitochondria in tissues decreases, deep ultrastructural anomalies of organelles develop, mitochondrial biogenesis is disrupted, the activity of enzyme complexes of the respiratory chain changes, and ATP synthesis is inhibited. At the same time, mitochondrial dysfunction can lead to calcium homeostasis disruption, excessive production of reactive oxygen species, as well as the transition of the megapore to an open conformation, a decrease in the expression of the antiapoptotic protein Bcl-2, the release of cytochrome c, the activation of proapoptotic caspase-3 and the DNA repair enzyme poly (-ADP ribose) polymerase. From the above, it can be seen that a specific mitochondrial dysfunction is observed in the process of lipid peroxidation (LPO) that develops during oxidative stress

EFFECT OF HYPOGLYCEMIC PLANT COLLECTION EXTRACT ON SOME INDICATORS OF CARBOHYDRATE METABOLISM IN CONDITIONS OF ESPERIMENTAL DIABETES
Abu Ali Hussein ibn Abdallah ibn Sina (16 August 980 - 18 June 1037) created works not only on medicine but also on the history of theology, philosophy, astronomy and religion. A number of sources record more than 450 works by Ibn Sina, and only 242 Gypsies have reached us. Ibn Sina's Works list more than 100 herbal products in the treatment of diabetes mellitus. One of the most commonly used plants in diabetes is white mulberry (Morus alba) plant raw materials and large zubturum (Plantago major) leaves. Ibn Sina cited that raw materials of these tumors are high in effectiveness in diabetes mellitus not only when applied separately, but also in the form of folding

SCIENTIFIC JUSTIFICATION FOR THE USE OF BUCKWHEAT IN THE COMPOSITION OF PHYTOSUPPOSITORIES FOR THE TREATMENT OF HEMORRHOIDS
Hemorrhoids are among the most common diseases of the rectum and anal canal. According to the World Health Organization, 10–15% of the adult population suffers from various forms of hemorrhoids, and among patients over 50 years old, this figure reaches 50–70%. The disease significantly reduces quality of life, being accompanied by pain, inflammation, itching, bleeding, and impaired normal functioning. In my work, I aimed to find a safer and more effective remedy. I chose phytosuppositories, since plant-based raw materials combine availability, low toxicity, and a complex therapeutic effect. Buckwheat, due to its rutin and flavonoid content, strengthens blood vessels and reduces inflammation. In combination with calendula, plantain, oak bark, and sea buckthorn oil, I obtained a preparation with pronounced wound-healing and anti-inflammatory effects.

IMMUNOSUPPRESSANTS IN MODERN PHARMACOLOGY: MECHANISMS OF ACTION AND CLINICAL APPLICATION
The immune system is a complex network of cells and mediators designed to protect the body from pathogens. However, in some cases (organ transplantation, autoimmune and allergic diseases) this protective reaction becomes excessive or directed against one's own tissues, which requires pharmacological correction. Immunosuppressants are a heterogeneous group of drugs that specifically inhibit the immune response. Their introduction revolutionized transplantology and significantly improved the prognosis for many autoimmune pathologies. However, their use is associated with serious side effects, primarily with an increased risk of infections and cancer, which dictates the need to search for new, more selective targets and drugs.

GARLIC WITHOUT ODOR: NEW OPPORTUNITIES FOR IMMUNE ENHANCEMENT
Garlic is one of the most extensively studied natural immunomodulators with antibacterial, antiviral, and antioxidant activity. Its use is limited by the presence of a characteristic unpleasant odor associated with sulfur-containing compounds. To reduce the odor, we used cherry, as it is rich in polyphenols, organic acids, and antioxidants, which are able to neutralize volatile garlic compounds while preserving its beneficial properties. This makes the topic relevant for both pharmaceuticals and the food industry
