Tuberculosis in children living in the Khorezm areas

Roza Askarova, Z Djumaniyazova

No one can say with certainty exactly when tuberculosis appeared on our planet. It is only known that it has become one of the most ancient scourges of mankind. For hundreds of years, tuberculosis remained incurable, and even today it often keeps patients in a state of fear and tension. Today tuberculosis is a global problem all over the world. Millions of people die every year from tuberculosis. If at present literary heroes often die of myocardial infarction, then the characters of F. M. Dostoevsky, I. S. Turgenev, N. A. Nekrasov, V. G. Korolenko, C. Dickens, A. Dumas-son, D. Cusack died of tuberculosis. For a long time it was believed that tuberculosis develops in people saddened by personal adversity. This is reflected in the operas. The heroines of "La Traviata" by D. Verdi and "La Boheme" by D. Puccini - Violetta and Mimi suffer from unrequited love and fall ill with tuberculosis. At the present stage, tuberculosis remains a serious medical and social problem in the world. In the Republic of Uzbekistan, despite the complex of large-scale anti-tuberculosis- measures, the epidemiological situation of tuberculosis remains tense.
