The article analyzes the state policy of some foreign countries in the field of tourism focused on the prevention of environmental pollution. The experience of foreign countries is being studied, where government agencies occupy a leading place in thecreation of long-term programs in tourism. The action programs of the 21st century are considered, which put forward the tasks for the training and education of personnel before the state bodies for tourism.
