Relevance.
The formation of pseudoarthrosis of the long bones of the extremities is one
of the most widespread and severe post-traumatic pathologies in traumatic injuries, and despite
the fact that in reparative osteogenesis in most cases the process ends with the restoration of
bone structures, the proportion of complications after traumatic injuries remains quite high.
Unsatisfactory results, even with perfect surgical technique, in case of violation of treatment
tactics and the occurrence of a false joint in a healthy div before the injury, significantly
increases. In addition, it can also occur due to unfavorable local conditions, including incorrect
location of the fractured bones, improper fixation, and impaired blood supply to the bone
fragments.
Research objective
:
to determine the frequency of occurrence of false joints according to
their location.
Materials and methods:
Pathomorphological morphological analysis of surgical
materials obtained from 113 patients of different ages who underwent surgery due to a false
joint was conducted at the Department of Pathological Anatomy of the Multidisciplinary
Clinic of the Samarkand State Medical University .
Results and discussion:
The results of the research conducted show that,
The humeral pseudoarthrosis sent for pathological examination was obtained from 14
patients, of whom 11 were men (79%) and 3 were women (21%). Of these, 3 were 25-44 years
old (middle-aged), 8 were 45-59 years old (middleaged), and 3 were 60-70 years old (elderly).
A total of 17 patients had a humeral pseudoarthrosis, of whom 12 (71%) were men and 5 (29%)
were women, 7 were 25-44 years old (middle-aged), 8 were 45-59 years old (middle-aged),
and 2 were 60-70 years old (elderly). A total of 11 patients with ulnar pseudoarthrosis were
diagnosed, 8 (73%) were male and 3 (27%) were female. Of these, 6 were aged 2544 years
(middle-aged), 4 were aged 45-59 years (middle-aged), and 1 was aged 60-70 years (elderly).
A total of 13 patients with ulnar pseudoarthrosis were diagnosed, 9 (69%) were male and 5
(31%) were female, 4 were aged 25-44 years (middle-aged), 3 were aged 45-59 years (middle-
aged), and 3 were aged 60-70 years (elderly). A total of 8 patients with pseudoarthrosis of the
palm and metacarpal bones were diagnosed, 5 of whom (63%) were men and 3 of whom (37%)
were women. Of these, 3 were 25-44 years old (middle-aged), 4 were 45-59 years old (middle-
aged), and 1 was 60-70 years old (elderly). A total of 7 patients with pseudoarthrosis of the
fingers were diagnosed, 5 of whom (71%) were men and 2 of whom (29%) were women. Of
these, 3 were 25-44 years old (middleaged), 4 were 45-59 years old (middle-aged), and no
elderly patients were found. A total of 16 patients with femoral pseudoarthrosis were observed,
13 (81%) were male and 3 (19%) were female. Of these, 4 were 25-44 years old (middle-aged),
4 were 45-59 years old (middle-aged), and 8 were 60-70 years old. A total of 14 patients with
femoral pseudoarthrosis were observed, 12 (86%) were male and 2 (24%) were female. Of
these, 8 were 25-44 years old (middle-aged), 4 were 45-59 years old (middle-aged), and 2 were
60-70 years old (elderly).

Conclusion.
Thus, pseudoarthrosis can have different localizations and occur at different ages.
Our observations have shown that the prevalence of pseudoarthrosis is higher in men than in
women.
