INTRODUCTION

Children's rights are rights that every child should have,

regardless of the category of human rights, race, sex,

language, religion, place of birth, national or social

origin, property, social status, and freedoms. In

international law, everyone under the age of 18 is

recognized as a child.

There are many special instruments on the rights of the

child at the international and national level. The main

international document on the rights of the child is the

Convention on the Rights of the Child. The Convention

was adopted in New York on November 20, 1989. It

consists of 54 articles, in which children's rights are

mentioned. All rights included in the Convention apply

to all children.

For the first time in the Convention, the child is

considered as a person with rights that states that have

ratified the Convention are required to "respect and

guarantee". This provision shows that the child is a very

vulnerable member of society and therefore requires

and deserves special protection.

According to the Convention, the child is considered as

an independent person. The Convention describes the

child as a person with specific rights.

"The States Parties recognize that every child has an

inalienable right to life.

Participating states shall create the highest possible

opportunities for the child's survival and healthy

development.

The children were provided with the opportunity to live

and receive education in their own family,

accompanied by their parents. This is stipulated in the

legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Section IV of

the Family Code, the rights and obligations of parents

and minors, Chapter 11, Personal property rights of

minors, Article 65 "Every child has the right to live and

be brought up in a family, to know his parents, to be

cared for by them." with the right to live together with

them, except in cases where it conflicts with the

interests of the child.

A child has the right to be brought up by his parents, to

have his interests secured, to be fully developed, and

to have his human values respected.

In the absence of the child's parents or when they are

deprived of parental rights and in other cases when the

child is deprived of parental care, his right to be

brought up in the family is ensured by the div of

guardianship and patronage.

Every child is under the protection of the state and this

should be done through planning. In the 45th version

of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan,

which is our main encyclical, it is said: "The rights of

minors, disabled people and lonely elderly are under

the protection of the state."

In Uzbekistan, child documents are regulated by:

Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

Family Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Guarantees of

Children's Rights";

Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On the acquisition

of crimes";

Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Guardianship

and Sponsorship";

Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On State Policy

Regarding Youth";

Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Education";

Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On social

protection of disabled people in the Republic of

Uzbekistan".

It is based on the main directions of the state policy on

the protection of children's rights:

ensuring the rights, freedoms and legal interests of the

child;

protection of the child's life and health;

do not allow the child to be discriminated against;

protecting the honor and dignity of the child;

ensure equality of children's rights and opportunities;

improvement of the legal basis of guarantees of

children's rights;

ensuring compliance with legal documents on

guarantees of children's rights;

to ensure the openness and transparency of the

activities of state bodies and their officials in the

provision and protection of children's rights, freedoms

and legal interests;

helping children to develop physically, intellectually,

spiritually and morally;

training of personnel performing activities in the field

of protection of children's rights, improving their

qualifications and retraining them;

to educate children's feelings of patriotism,

citizenship, tolerance and love of peace;

to acquaint the child with the historical and national

traditions, spiritual values and achievements of the

world culture of the people of Uzbekistan;

development of the child's personality, his scientific,

technical and artistic creativity;

supporting children's initiatives;

formation of legal consciousness and legal culture in

the child;

cooperation between state bodies and non-

governmental non-profit organizations in order to

ensure children's rights;

development of cooperation with international

organizations working in the field of child rights

protection; helping to improve children's social skills

and reduce delinquency among minors. These

international and national norms on children's rights

created a legal basis for the formation of state policy

on children's rights in our country. This policy is

reflected in the consistent activities of state and local

authorities aimed at creating an effective mechanism

for legal regulation of relations related to the

implementation and protection of children's rights.

Therefore, creation of legal and organizational

conditions and guarantees necessary for ensuring and

protecting children's rights is one of the priority

directions of state policy in our country.

A healthy generation is the greatest wealth of society.

A society that does not value the young generation can

never develop perfectly and quickly. In order to entrust

the future, any society should value the growing young

generation and create conditions for its healthy

education in all aspects.
